The Growth & Income Private Trust is an actively managed balanced portfolio that utilizes a “top-down growth” investment philosophy. This investment approach involves investing in companies that exhibit signs of above-average growth and increasing earnings momentum. Active asset allocation, the process of shifting assets between stocks, bonds and cash over time in anticipation of future risk or potential return scenarios, is employed to add value and protect capital. To aid in this process, the manager performs continual macroeconomic analysis in order to identify the asset classes and sectors of the economy they believe will exhibit above-average growth rates.
